We started in July 2015 with one idea: a child in Okara should not have to leave home to be prepared for a cadet college. Nine years later, more than 450 of our cadets wear the uniform of a Military, Cadet or PAF college.

Our story

Started in July 2015.

Before 2015, a family in Okara who wanted their son or daughter prepared for a cadet college had to send them to Lahore, Rawalpindi or another district — and pay heavy fees to an academy far from home. The Bahar Cadet Institute was founded to end that.

The purpose of this institute is to help future leaders thrive by giving them the education and the skills they need to succeed. It was created with the express purpose of preparing young people from every social and cultural background to meet the high physical, academic, psychological and behavioural standards the forces demand — and we are still working on it, every session.

Today we run two campuses in Okara, a full school from Play Group to Matric, cadet college preparation for boys and girls, and an ISSB and Initial preparation program that runs on campus and online across Pakistan.

The Bahar Cadet and Forces Institute is one of the best academic institutions for our future generation. Our curriculum works to instil integrity, self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, self-confidence and a healthy competitive spirit in every student.

Besides formal education, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities remain cardinal pillars of our philosophy. Quiz, essay and story writing, national songs and speech contests enrich our students’ knowledge and give them the ambition to shine in future with a touch of scruples and morals.
